Meet Barry

Barry Finegold was raised in Andover and Tewksbury and is a proud Andover High School graduate. He is an alumnus of Franklin and Marshall College where he graduated with a degree in government with a business concentration.

Following college, Barry ran for the Board of Selectmen, taking on longtime incumbents to win and become the youngest Selectman in the town’s history at age 24. A year later, he won election to the Massachusetts House of Representatives where he became the youngest member of his freshman class of legislators, representing Andover, Tewksbury and Lawrence.

During this time, Barry put himself through the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover, working during the day and taking classes at night, and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.

At age 29, he founded the law firm of Dalton & Finegold in Andover where he continues to work as a partner at the firm.

When he is not running his business or legislating, you can find Barry coaching his kids in hockey and football.

Barry lives in Andover with his wife, Amy, his three children, Ava, Ella, Max, and Otis the bulldog.
